What is SafeSigner?

SafeSigner is a security platform that enables organizations and their customers secure any digital transaction.

What does SafeSigner do?

SafeSigner authenticates any transaction on the internet, signing the transaction data and authenticating both the user and the operation to be performed.

SafeSigner for ATM allows customers to withdraw cash from an ATM using their smartphones instead of a card, in a more secure and friendly manner.

SafeSigner for Pay allows users to make any payment with your smartphone, with no need to carry additional cards or other devices. The payments are associated with debit cards, credit cards, membership cards or loyalty points cards, gift cards, discounts, coupons, and more.

Who can use it?

SafeSigner is aimed at all public and private institutions or organizations that allow their customers to transact online.

What kind of operations secures SafeSigner?

SafeSigner secures bank transfers, balance inquiries, online banking, e-commerce, stock purchase or stock transactions, or internal operations that needs to be secured.

What kind of authentication uses SafeSigner?

Our solution incorporates a double authentication that includes the user’s identity and a digital signature for the transaction. SafeSigner signs the transaction data after the user has verified it.

 

PCI Security Standards Council and FIPS 140-2

SafeSigner has PCI DSS certification in sections 6.3.2, 6.5 and 6.6, as well has PCI PA-DSS version 2.0 certification, in sections 11.3.2 – 5.1.4, 5.2, and 6.b on their Android and iPhone mobile applications. In addition, SafeSigner uses hardware FIPS 140-2 Level 3+.

How to activate?

SafeSigner can be directly activated by the user on the Internet, self service (ATM) or any branch of the organization.

 

What need to use?

This technology will use the smartphone as transaction verification device.

How to use?

The product works by using QR Code or Push Notifications, and may be configured to operate with or without Internet connection. The smartphone will give you a confirmation code to be entered on the website of the organization, confirming the correct information. Thus the transaction is validated and approved by the client.

 

Can I change my SafeSigner’s PIN? How?

Yes. To change the activation key you must enter “Settings” and select “Change pin” option. Type the old password in the box and then enter a new password twice.

What warranty gives SafeSigner?

SafeSigner uses a unique signing code for each transaction, which can be used only once. This feature makes it immune from phishing attacks, Trojans, Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) and Man-in-the-browser (MitB) and makes it resistant to harsh environments, such as infected computers or shared.

Furthermore, by using a PIN prevents malicious use of the application on your phone if stolen, offers a safe and simple enabling users and is very easy to use.

How data encryption work?

SafeSigner has a data encryption “End-to-End”. With that information is protected from end to end, from the server to the phone. So the user does not depend on the internet for security.
